Each of our spacious rooms and suites, whose names evoke prestigious Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero crus, is characterized by carefully chosen warm and welcoming materials, from the terra cotta of the floors to the wood of the coffered ceilings to the Frau leather of the furnishings, while the marble tiling in all the bathrooms evokes rigor and elegance. Walking along the broad corridors, guests can enjoy views over the Agenzia’s inner quadrilateral. Each room is equipped with a vast range of services and high-tech facilities such as air conditioning, WiFi, flat-screen televisions with Sky TV, minibars, safes and direct telephone lines. The rich buffet breakfast is included in the cost of a night’s stay, as are the heated swimming pool and the facilities of the wellness center . By prior confirmation, each room can be fitted with an extra bed and/or cot.

CANNUBI SUITEArea: 56 m²

Guests staying in this suite, dedicated to one of the world’s most celebrated Barolo crus, enjoy a splendid view over the surrounding parkland. A spacious living room with refined antique furniture, Frau leather armchairs and a lovely fireplace leads into the bedroom and its comfortable king-size bed. Two bathrooms—one with a hydromassage tub, the other with a shower and a spacious walk-in wardrobe—ensure guests a luxurious and enjoyable stay.

Each of our deluxe rooms has a special touch—a piece of antique furniture here, a fireplace there— that makes it unique, and the Frau armchairs and sofas are arranged to give them all a refined, intimate character. Some have sleeping lofts that can be easily reached from the sitting room by a wood ladder. These rooms have two televisions, one on each level.

The Albergo devotes special attention to families. Family rooms are “traditional” communicating rooms offering greater space, while at the same time maintaining privacy. Where possible and necessary, our staff will be pleased to add cradles for children younger than two. There is no extra charge for children of lower than 14 years of age accompanied by their parents or tutors, provided they use the beds already in the rooms.

It was here, among the hills in the heart of rural Piedmont, that the story of Slow Food, the association that puts “good, clean and fair” food at the center of the cultural debate, began. And it was from an idea of Slow Food’s that the project to restore the entire Pollenzo complex was born.
