THE ALBERGO DELL’AGENZIA PARK
Over two hectares of park that embrace the Agenzia allows guests to take relaxing walks through meadows and footpaths, in a peaceful oasis of greenery dotted with wonderful rose gardens.
The park was originally designed and built between 1834 and 1840, at the behest of the Royal House, by the famous German landscape designer Xavier Kurten. He was commissioned by Carlo Alberto to built a garden in the English romantic style, in perfect harmony with the neo-Gothic architecture of Pollenzo’s complex.
A JOURNEY THROUGH HISTORY
The extended lawn grounds allow you to gaze through the hills of Cherasco up to the mountains of the Western Alps and Monviso. A walk in the park and the village are a true journey through history: in front of the entrance of the Hotel, the "Torrione", a fortified tower of Roman times testifies to a glorious past that made Pollenzo an important centre from which was urbanized southern Piedmont.
